The story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland started when Reverend Dodgson rowed in a boat on the 4^th of July, 1862. With him were the three young daughters of Henry Liddell, the Vice –Chancellor of Oxford University.  They were Lorina Charlotte Liddell, aged 13, Alice Pleasance Liddell, aged 10 and Edith Mary Liddell, aged 8.
